What are the differences between the Affiliate and the Partner/Reseller programs?
Affiliate Advertising is a form of performance-based marketing where you, the “Publisher”, earn commissions on qualified sales made by one of your website visitors. By referring your site visitor/customer to us, the “Advertiser” ( or “Merchant”), you profit off any qualified sale that is made.
For example, when a visitor goes to your website and clicks on a RingCentral affiliate banner, it redirects them to RingCentral.com. When the visitor makes a qualifying purchase of our service, the qualified sale then is tracked back to you, the “Publisher” and you will receive a commission through Partnerize.
RingCentral Partner/Resellers (also known as Authorized Dealers/VARs), on the other hand, are the main point of contact for the customer; and they own the sale from beginning to end. Partners earn upfront commissions and long-term residuals for each RingCentral sale, and can also generate revenue on setup, installation, ongoing system management and hardware sales.
Partners also receive technical support, online training, discounts on phones, sales tools, marketing resources, and a dedicated RingCentral representative in their area.
RingCentral Partners are typically, IT Providers, Managed Service Providers, IT Consultants, Telecommunications Consultants, Satellite or Wireless Dealers.
